The new feature comes nearly two years after both YouTube and Facebook began offering support for 360-degree videos. This format is often seen as a precursor to full virtual reality experience.

“We surveyed over 2,000 people in the US and Canada to learn more about their specific habits around why and how they watch their favorite content”, Facebook said.
Twitter will gain access to 1500 hours of esports competitions in 2017, with its latest live streaming deal. The network has partnered with ESL and DreamHack.
